Sam manages environmental affairs and permitting at RIC Energy, and is responsible for leading federal, state, and local permitting and compliance, wetland delineations and assessments, endangered and threatened species presence and habitat assessments, avian presence and habitat assessments, environmental mitigation design, and invasive species presence assessments and management. Prior to RIC Energy, she was a Project Manager and Agrivoltaics Chair at TRC Companies.

Sam holds a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Bridgewater College in Virginia.
