Dr. Kevin Bliss oversees environmental management and permitting at RIC Energy and is responsible for ensuring our projects are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations and maintaining our commitment to being a valued neighbor. Prior to RIC Energy, Kevin has over 35 years of environmental management and permitting experience as a Senior Permitting Specialist and Project Manager with TRC, a leading global consulting, engineering, and construction management firm; Permit Administrator and Program Manager with the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation; and Environmental Planner at the County and City levels.

Kevin enjoys teaching environmental science, ecology, and other college courses, and holds Board positions on several non-profit environmental corporations. Kevin is a certified Professional Wetland Scientist and has a PhD and Master of Science in Environmental Science from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, as well as undergraduate degrees in Water Resources and Fisheries and Wildlife Technology.
